It's over... Ziggurat Con was organized by GIs, for GIs, at Camp Adder, Tallil, Iraq, site of the original Ziggurat of Babylonia. Here's stories (& photos, 3rd item in the sidebar at right, below) of the con, made possible by generous support (see the Honor Roll at right, below) from stateside gamers (e.g., The Grrl Gamers of Portland and OSFCI) and game stores, such as Ancient Wonders, Empire Games, and Rainy Day Games. Remember those stores when it's time to spend your hard earned GP !

Dice Depots volunteered to hold your donations. Praise their generosity, spread the word about them, and remember them when it comes time to spend your GP:

HONOR ROLL: Donors to Operation Dice Drop
Several Grrl Gamers of Portland, who donated fabric, assembled to sew dice bags, packaged dice sets, and contributed many, many books, games, dice and minatures.
Benefactress No. 1, Ixias, who sent, via Paypal, $50. That allowed us to pay for 2/3 of the freight cost for the Grrl Gamer and the Rainy Day Games donations of RPG books.
Benefactor No. 2, OSFCI, the non-profit operator of Orycon and GameStorm. OSFCI who provided $300. That bought two more cartons of RPG books, several bags of dice, and nearly paid for all the freight to ship the books.
Benefactor No. 3, Michael Mallon of Houston, TX, PayPal'd a net donation of $96.20, which covers the remainder of shipments One through Five and will help pay for shipment Nine - ? when we close out the Dice Depots and pack their Loot.
Benefactress No. 4, Antonia Cabal, of Milwaukie, gave a check for $10, which helped cover shipments Six and Seven.
Benefactor No. 5, Mike Carson, of Far Far Away, gave $50 via PayPal, which will pay for Shipment Eight.
